We are in the unfortunate and sad situation that we have to rehome our greyhound Azza, as we have had to go back to Australia. It is not reasonable to bring him due to his age, the quarantine and other factors. He is nearly 11 years old, a former race dog adopted at the age of 4, so been with Morgan for 7 years. He is very low maintenance. Azza spends much of his time sleeping (this breed sleeps 18hrs per day), the occasional brief playtime with soft toys, and a morning and an arvo/evening walk. He is very easy to walk, always matching your pace and doesn’t pull on lead. This breed does not lose much hair around the house, only when brushed with specific brush which we will provide. Ideally, we are looking for a home with a loving family where he has access to outdoor/grass and no/few stairs, as greyhounds (especially as they age) and steep stair don’t go too well together. He would go well with other dogs that are not also dominant and he has always been fine with kids he has met so far (we have a 4-month-old baby).
